CAMP JAYCEE CAMP KESHET

Much of our preschool staff is already gearing up for a fantastic summer! Registration is on now for Camp Keshet, held in the preschool classrooms. Camp Keshet is open to children ranging in age from 18 months to five years. Parent and Me classes for children from ages 9 months to two years also available.

Mommy and Me Class
Experience our new Mommy and Me program! You and your child will experience a magical morning full of songs, music, movement, instrument play, art and story time in a warm, Jewish environment. The class will be taught by a music specialist and our preschool director, Kira Rivkin, and will include a special Shabbat circle. It is a wonderful opportunity to bond with your child and meet other children and families in the community. Join us for FREE in May and June and don’t forget to bring a friend.
Elanot Program
We are thrilled to continue expanding our preschool programming by offering "Elanot," our Pre-K program, next year. Elanot, which means "trees" in Hebrew, is a transition program specifically designed for children to create a gentle transition from preschool to kindergarten. The program challenges each child as an individual academically, socially and emotionally, thus allowing children to discover and grow their own strengths in a caring and nurturing Jewish environment. Priority is given to children who are kindergarten eligible based on the public school cutoff date. Don't forget to tell your friends about this new, exciting program!

Tikkun Leil Shavuot: A Night Of Jewish Learning
A More Perfect Union: Judaism and Social Justice Discovering the Common Good
Shavuot is a traditional night of study for the Jewish people. The Synagogue - SDJA Compact proudly presents renowned scholar Rabbi Sid Schwarz as well as local Rabbis and teachers for an evening of learning.

Within a nurturing Jewish environment, our teaching staff will weave engaging language and math activities, exciting themes of exploration and adventure with traditional summertime fun.

Start your morning with complimentary bagels and coffee in the Coffee House. Schmooze and share parenting tips with other parents while your babies gaze and giggle with their future temple friends (9:00-10:30am). If your baby is sleeping you can utilize our free Wi-Fi and get some work done before or after class! After your bagels, join Brenda in the classroom for weekly topics, parachute play, bubbles, music, movement, singing and dancing with Craig Parks (10:45 – 11:30am) No charge.
